According to Thomas Reuters, Muslim countries spent about 340 billion euros for clothes and shoes in 2013. No wonder big fashion brands such as Dolce & Gabbana and Tommy Hilfiger turned to Muslim markets – young, growing and looking for luxury goods – creating original limited edition collections. On catwalks you could see hijabs (the veil which covers the head) and abayas (usually a black dress which covers all the body, except for face, feet and hands) accompanied by jewels, glasses and bags.
